The Northumberland and Durham
WELCOME to the web site of the Northumberland and Durham Caledonian Society - a society dedicated to keeping alive the traditions of Scotland in the North East of England. We hope that you will find something of interest on our pages and if you have any queries or comments, please let us know.
The Society enjoys many social events throughout the year with the most notable being The Burns Supper and St Andrews Day celebrations, important dates in the calendar of most Scots! Other events throughout the year include informal Scottish Dances, Ceilidh’s,  dance classes, mystery nights, guest talks and weekend breaks and excursions. In addition, the society supports a number of charities both locally and afar. As the society attracts a broad range of age groups, there is generally something for everyone so if any of our events take your fancy or you would like to know more, please get in touch and if you are interested in joining our society, please refer to the society membership page.
